Ge Force 4 NTSC ???

Und noch eine Frage die schon mal gepostet hatte, die aber nicht so richtig beantwortet wurde..

Humhum, dummes Problem...

Ich halte hier (In den USA) gerade meine GeForce4 Asus V8460Ultra Deluxe in Haenden und hab jetzt folgendes Problem:
Auf dem VGA Ausgang steht: NTSC
Ich weiss das Nord Amerika NTSC benutzt und wir in Deutschland PAL. Aber ich wusste nicht das der Fernsehstandart auch auf Computerbildschirme zutrifft.
Trifft es auf Computerbildschirme zu? Die Karte hat einen Modewechsler von NTSC auf PAL via Jumper, aber das ist laut Anleitung fuer den TV Ausgang.

Kann ich die Karte mit einem Monitor in Deutschland benutzen? Ich kann die Karte nicht Umtauschen so wie's aussieht.

Also PC-Bildschirme haben überhaupt nichts mit dem PAL-Standard zu tun, das ist ein TV-Standard. Die Karte sollte nach meiner Ansicht also funktionieren. Da du sie eh nicht umtauschen kannst - schliess doch einfach mal an ... :rolleyes:

Ja das hat man mir auf dem anderen Board auch gesagt, aber da ich nur eine Antwort bekommen hatte, frag ich doch lieber nochmal woanders nach :-)

Ich vermute das die NTSC/PAL Versionen bedeuten, das die jeweilige Version direkt fuer die entsprechende Region vorgejumpert ist (Da man den TV Ausgang umjumpern kann).

Genau. Der VGA-Anschluss ist immer gleich, den TV-Ausgang kann man per Jumper oder Software auf PAL oder NTSC konfigurieren...
