Heute in der Firma einen neuen Server bestellt und war nicht sparsam, obwohl den mit 16 MB L2 durfte ich net nehmen, gut ist auch alte Netburst Technik dahiner, war nen abgespeckter Tulsa. Aber über 1500 euro ist schon sehr happig.

Quadcore Xeon 2,3 GHz mit 8 MB L2 Cache,

18 GB RAM DDR 2 FB 667, 8x146 GB 10K SAS Platten

Alles in eine IBM Kiste drin xSeries x3650

Edit: Werde ihn mal noch nen Tag oder 2 quälen mit Benchmarks gerade was CPU Leistung etc angeht. Stell ich dann hier mal rein

Hm, nett. Aber anscheinend ist der einzige Unterschied vom Clovertown zum Kentsfield Xeon wohl das B3-Stepping sowie der 1333er FSB... und natürlich der Sockel ;)
Kanns selber kaum erwarten nen 3210 mal zu testen, der kostet ja "nur" 380€ und sollte wenigstens 3Ghz machen ;)

Cinebench dürfte rocken, der ist glaub auf X CPU ausgelegt.. ansonsten ---> BOINC :D

Hm... hat der HT oder warum werden da 8 CPUs angezeigt?!
Oder sind das 2 Quadcores?
Ich werd die Tage ein ein Ergebnis posten können mitm 3210, mal schaun ;)

Für 2 Quadcores is Faktor 4,78 aber nich so der Brüller :rolleyes:
