Hallo!
Ich habe mir o.g. Prozessor gekauft - und bin mir unsicher: Kann ich den auf jedes Board stecken, das auch für die PIII Tualatin nicht-mobile Prozessoren geeignet ist, oder brauche ich ein spezielles Board?

Gibts schon oft im Forum. Das Ding ist Sockel 478, passt also nichtmal annähernd.

Also reicht es, wenn ich ein *beliebiges* Board mit Sockel 478 kaufe, wie z.b. folgendes?

Oder darf es kein Board mit Sockel 478 für P4 sein, sondern muss für P3 sein? War demnach meine sponane Kaufentscheidung quasi eine Fehlinvestition, weil es sowas nicht gibt?
