GA-6BXE und Registered SDRam Speicher....

Servus,

mein Mainsys ist derzeit ein P3 Slot 1 mit 1000MHz auf nem Gigabyte GA-6BXE
Habe nun 4 256er SDRam Reg ECC von Kingston mit Infineon-Chips daraf verbaut. Der Rechner startete, im Windows zeigte er nach 5min Bluescreen. Also Restart und diesmal lief er über 2h. Doch dann wieder Bluescreen, Windows 2000 wollte ein Speicherabbild erstellen, stürzte aber dabei ab. Und nun bekomme ich das Board weder mit den 4 256ern noch mit normalem Speicher zu laufen, habe ein- und zweiseitigen mit 256 und 128MB benutzt, kein Erfolg. Das Board scheint tot. Vorher lief es mit zwei 256ern einseitig, die jeweils nur mit 128MB erkannt wurden.

Gibt es noch Hoffnung?

alles versucht!
der p3 ist ein 133er, der speicher ist 133 cl3
piepcode ist 1x lang 2x kurz, also grafik/speichercontroller-problem, aber danach kommt so ne art sirene, hoher ton, tieferer ton
cmos-clear bereits versucht
habe auch non-ecc speicher und einen 500er p3 versucht, gleiches fehlersignal
warum sollte ein gig unter diesen umständen kritisch sein?

weil du den BX mit 133 betreibst und er selbst bei 100mhz nur für 1gig Buffered Riegeln freigegeben ist.
100mhz sind aber normalerweise auch ohne Buffered Riegel kein Problem bis 124 geht es auch aber 133 ist Glückssache.

Bin mir nicht sicher ob ECC = Buffered ist.

EDIT: sehe gerade du hast Reg. AFAIK sollte der gar nicht auf dem BX laufen :confused:

hmmm, bin nicht sicher ob die laufen, Dein Server hat FSB100, oder? Dann wäre es fraglich... die ziehen ihre 133MHz durch
