Hoi! Ich hab ein Problem mit einem Board mit 4-Pin Stromanschluss.
Das Problem ist das mein Enermax EG375AX-VE zwar einen solchen Pin hat, aber dieser nicht wirklich anzeigt welche Seite "Vorne" ist (also die wo eigentlich diese Einrast-Lasche drangehört.
Jetzt guck ich mein Board an und das Kabel und bin so klug als wie zuvor. Hab auch schon die Handbücher durchgewälzt, wenigstens ASUS ist so nett nen Pinout von dem Teil anzugeben:
12V | GND
------------
12V | GND
So sieht's aus. Jetzt hab ich an meinem Kabel allerdings vier verschiedene Farben dran, nämlich Rot, Schwarz, Orange und Gelb.
Gelb sollte 12V sein und Schwarz GND, newa?
Tja, nur liegen die sich natürlich perfekt gegenüber, so das zwei Möglichkeiten gehen:
G | O 12V | GND
------ ------------
R | S 12V | GND
-und-
O | S 12V | GND
------ ------------
G | R 12V | GND
Da Rot ja eigentlich 5V is (und ich keine Ahnung hab was Orange sein soll), bin ich total verwirrt. Tendiere eigentlich zur ersten Möglichkeit, aber bevor ich mein Board schrotte, frag ich euch.

Kurz nachgeguckt, der P4 Stecker war hinter den CDROMs versteckt.
Naja, ist 2 Uhr Nachts, ich bin seit 6 Uhr wach und hab die letzten vier Tage jeweils nur 5 Stunde geschlafen.

Na toll, jetzt hab ich direkt das nächste Maleur.
Hab hier ne Grafikkarte die einen 2-Pin Föhn-Anschluss hat. Der Föhn selbst hat aber nen 3-Pin, was bedeutet das er an das Motherboard geklemmt werden muss.
Geht aber beim P4PE nicht, da nicht ein einziger solcher Anschluss da ist.
Also aus nem alten Föhnkabel den Stecker an das aktuelle kloppen. Kein Problem, Rot is 12V, Schwarz is GND und Geld is nutzlos.
Nur wo is bei den 2-Pin Steckern was? Ich find online nur die Pinbelegungen für den 3-Pin, und den kenn ich eh. GNARF

Ist PIN1 immer GND? Auch bei den 2-Pin?

Welcher 2-Pin? Bei den kleinen Grafikkartendingern ist das nicht genormt, leider. Meist ist aber links 12 Volt und rechts Masse, also Stecker zu dir hin gerichtet, Nase nach oben. Ansonsten, probieren geht über studieren, dürfte eigentlich nichts bei frittiert werden.

Was für eine Karte ist das? Sprich, Chip, Hersteller, Modell, die meisten Hersteller packen spärliche Informationen in das Handbuch, mit den technischen Dokumentationen hat man mehr Glück, eventuell mal das Referenz-Design runterladen.

Ist ne Ti4200. Ansonsten kann ich dir nur sagen das sie von XFX ist und 64MB RAM hat. Das ist alles was ich weiss, da auf der Karte sonst keine P/N bzw S/N drauf sind und ich das ganze nur deswegen weiss, da ein Conexant Chip drauf ist und ich zufällig so ein Bild davon gefunden hab, wo eine solche Karte und eine Verpackung mit "XFX Ti4200"druff aufgedruckt zu sehen war.

Ja meintest du. Ich hatte das "Stecker zu dir hin gerichtet" ohne das "Nase nach oben" gelesen und daher den Stecker gleich "AGP Stecker" gesetzt.
