Abit ST6 & Tualatin 1.4 SL5XL undervolten?

Habe gerade ein Abit ST6 bekommen & den King mit SL5XL Stepcode. Wie komme ich denn im Bios in das Menu um die Vcore Einstellungen zu verändern? Ist das eine versteckte Tastenkombination, oder habe ich ein Brett vorm Kopf? :drink:

Wie weit runter kann ich den Pentium 1.4 wohl stabil undervolten? Wollte ein schönes leises System damit aufbauen.

ähm... flash mal das neueste Bios drauf?
Als ich noch ein ST6 hatte (allerdings mit 1,13er) liefs bei mir stabil @1,2Ghz mit 1,1V :D
Denn das war die Minimum Einstellung was das Board anbietet... 1,064 sogar glaub im Bios.

stimmt 1,075 ging bei mir, mit nem tuleron@1000 unendlich cool

stammt das board von abit direkt?

Die Installation verlief ohne besondere Vorfälle und ich gratuliere Microsoft zu seinem Rekord, denn kein anderes Spiel hat es auf meiner Festplatte bisher auf knapp über 17GB Speicherplatz gebracht.

bios ---> SOFTMENU

Einstellbereich sollte 1,075V-1,xxx V sein...

Jo danke, alles klar, der 1.4er läuft wohl erst ab 1.275 Vcore mit dem aktuellen Bios an. Weiss jemand, ob ich Probleme mit der Systempartition bekomme, wenn ich das Abit nun gegen das Tusl2-C, was in meinem Server läuft, tausche? Der Intel Chipsatz ist ja schonmal derselbe :D

hmm.. so'n Boardtausch ist immer mit Formatierung verbunden zu empfehlen. Kannst es ja ohne versuchen, aber auf jeden Fall vorher sichern. Besser ists immer, das System beim Mainboardtausch neu aufzuspielen. Die Partitionen an sich bleiben erhalten...

ich hab mal nen Tausch zwischen einen Abit BX6 rev2 und einem Abit BX133 gemacht und es ging.

i875 -> i855 -> i875 -> i945, mit ein und demselben WinXP ohne signifikanten Einbussen bei den üblichen Benches, hängt natürlich davon ab wieviel Software man ausprobiert, man kann sich das System schnell zumüllen ;)

Der Tualatin läuft auch mit 1.275 Vcore.
