Hey Leute,
ein Kumpel von mir braucht nen Arbeitsrechner der viel AutoCAD machen soll.
Die 2D Funktionen werden ausschließlich von der CPU gerendert, viel Speicher brauchts auch - das ist klar.
Bei den 3D Funktionen steht als System requirement eine "128MB or more Workstation Graphics Card" drinne - aha.
Soweit ich rausfinden konnte, nutzt das Programm für 3D Modelle ausschließlich OpenGL - da bietet sich doch erstmal ne Nvidia an.
Nur ist ne echte Quadro wohl zu teuer, also was ist die beste die man zur Quadro modden kann? Ne FX?
Wäre cool wenn einer Rat wüsste.

Das wär ja schonmal klasse - es müsste halt ne PCIe sein, restl. System wird ein 6420 auf nem Abit IP35 mit 2GB D9GMH - 400x8 mit 4:5 Teiler :engel:
Ob man die PCIe 6800er genauso modden kann?

Achja, kann man eigentlich jede FX5900 per Rivatuner zu ner Quadro machen?
Scheint so... denn für die QFX4000 braucht man wohl die richtige 6800GT und der Hardmod is auich nicht grad ohne...

Wär interessant zu sehen obs mit ner PCIe auch gehen würde :P Die mods sollten für faba ein leichtes sein, sogar "eindaumig" *duck* ;)

Vielleicht für dich interessant, ich hab mir heute ne PCIe 6800 Ultra 512MB geschossen. Bei meiner Recherche ist mir aufgefallen das es wohl eine Quadro FX4400 gab welche exakt das gleiche PCB zu haben scheint. Ich werde mal suchen obs nen mod dafür gibt, würde ja am naheliegensten sein. Sind ja eigentlich die gleichen Karten.

Das müsste ich mir gut überlegen :D Hab ewig gesucht bis ich mal eine gefunden hab. Kannst ja schonmal versuchen ein Highres Pic vom PCB einer Quadro 4400 zu bekommen, dann kann man mal nach unterschieden suchen. Vielleicht wurde die chip id auch verändert wie bei der AGP Version. Der größte Unterscheid werden wohl die DVIs sein. Sollten auf meiner nur Single Links sein.

AutoCAD und 3D? Ist den Kumpel Masochist?

Ne mal Spass beiseite: Hau irgendeine durchschnittliche Graka rein, für das was man mit AutoCAD in 3D macht, sollte das locker langen.

Bei ernsthaften 3D-Cad Anwendungen und großen Baugruppen siehts dann natürlich etwas anders aus.
SolidWorks läuft aber z.B. problemlos auf nem Schleppi mit ATI Mobility Radeon X1600.

Mal als Tip für deinen Kumpel: Er soll sich mal SolidEdge anschauen. Die 2D-Version ist mittlerweile kostenlos erhältlich und ist in Sachen Bedienerfreundlichkeit dank parametrischem System um Welten besser als ACAD.

Hm, wie gesagt mir wurscht was der damit macht, solange er genug Power hat um es zu tun is mir das recht :D
