Aufruf an alle AGP GeForce 7 Besitzer !

Hallo erstmal,

alle Besitzer einer GeForce 7800GS, 7900GT (7800GS Gainward Silent+ und GLH), 7600GS und 7600GT für AGP möchten doch bitte mal die ID der Karte posten.

Programme wie WCPUID oder EVEREST/AIDA32 zeigen diese ID an. Sie ist 4-stellig. Eine GeForce 4 Ti4200 hat z.B. 0253 (025=GF4, 3=Ti4200). Eine GeForce 6800 Ultra hat 0040 und eine 6800GT hat 0045.

Es geht mal wieder um einen GF7 Treiber für Win98SE/ME. Der Grafikkartenhersteller BFG (www.bfgtech.com) bietet einen (82.16) für die 7800GS an.

Es geht darum herauszufinden, ob dieser Forceware 82.16 nur mit der BFG 7800GS läuft (da evtl. eigene ID von BFG) oder auch mit anderen GF7 Karten.

Dazu bräuchte man die IDs der anderen G7 Karten. Diese könnte man dann in die inf.-Datei des 82.16 einfügen und dann versuchen, ob die Karte erkannt wird.

Die Device-IDs der Geforce7-Reihe kannst du ganz einfach herausfinden, wenn du dir die nv4_disp.inf eines neueren WinXP-Treibers anschaust. Hier ein Beispiel für den 84.21 (mein persönlicher Favorit für eine 6800):

Okay, Danke !

Die meisten GF7 Karten in den beiden inf.-Dateien werden wohl PCIe-Karten sein.

Deshalb wäre es noch hilfreich, wenn noch ein paar GeForce 7 AGP-Karten-Besitzer die IDs posten, so wie grandmasterw es schon getan hat. Dann könnte man das mit den IDs in den inf.-Dateien abgleichen.

Vielleicht läßt sich ja daraus dann ein GF7 Forceware für Win98SE/ME machen, indem man die entsprechende ID seiner GeForce 7xxx Karte in die inf.-Datei einfügt.

Aber vielleicht gehört noch mehr dazu als die inf.-Datei zu editieren, damit die GF7 unter Win98SE/ME erkannt wird. Wer weiss :confused:

Ne, wozu HT, hab ja Win2k.
Leute, der war gratis. Bei manchen Spielen bringts viel (Gothic 2), bei manchen wenig. Arbeiten tu ich meistens am Notebook, also is mir der Strom vom P4 eher wurscht.
Achja, USB 2.0 is auch ne nette Annehmlichkeit.

Wenn Gothic 3 nicht so verbuggt wär, hätt ich eh schon nen Core hier stehn. So spar ich lieber aufs Frühlingsopening beim Eissalon Tichy. :P

Ach wieso... ich habs angefangen zu zocken mit der aktuellen Version 1.09 und es sind nicht mehr viele Bugs... macht auf jeden Fall fett Laune, allerdings nicht ohne mindestens 3Ghz C2D Power und ner X1900XT/7900GT (absolutes Minimum für max. Details) sowie 2GB Ram.
Hardwarehungrig wie Sau is das Game :D

So wars nicht gemeint ;)
Ist nämlich leider wirklich so.
Und selbst bei meinem oder noch besseren Systemen laggts manchmal kurz, wenn man zb. ne Fackel rausholt :D
Da muss er erstmal 100 dynamische Schatten berechnen dat geht einfach nich flüssig :wand:
Kumpel hat nen X6800 und 2 X1950XTX im Crossfire, selbst da hats ab und an noch Ruckler... evtl. helfen 4GB Ram aber ich glaubs nicht... da sich das Game bei mir "nur" 1,3GB Ram krallt laut Taskmanager und noch so 500MB frei sind.

Spielst dus im 64 Bit Windows? Angeblich gehts da besser, wenn man genug Speicher hat. bei 32 Bit fragmentiert der anschienend schon zu sehr.
