Kommt drauf an, was der Server so machen soll. Mir würds auch nicht reichen. Da hol ich mir doch lieber das 60-Euro-Board mit aufgelötetem Celi.

@ Tiger per USB kannst du ja noch genug anschließen? Zum reinen Routen würde es wohl locker reichen, so grottig wird der Dothan nicht im futter stehen? Auch gut wärs wohl als Car PC zu Gebrauchen, die grafikkarte hat nen normalen Monitor Out, das ding würde sich jedenfalls recht einfach verstecken lassen.

Na auch zum routen reicht das 60-Euro Board von Intel. Außer man hat sehr wenig Platz, und will einen Bildschirm dabei haben, dann machts Sinn.
Und Car PC.. naja, da nehm ich einfach das Notebook mit, und fertig.

...sehe das auch so, nen Effizientes Netzteil, nen USV für kleinere stromausfälle (beim NB der akku) RAM und sowas brauchst du ja immer noch, für 60 öcken hast du da auch nicht alles, wenn es echt für 199€ zu haben wäre egal welche Ausstattung, wär es schon dafür zu Gebrauchen,

Hast aber auch einige Nachteile. Keine Festplatte, wahrscheinlich nur ein Compactflash-Slot, also höchstens ne USB Festplatte kannst anstecken. Kannst keine Netzwerkkarte einbauen, d.h. es wird ein WLAN-Router.
Die USV ist zwar nett, aber die brauch ich eigentlich nicht. Kann mich gar nicht erinnern, wann der letzte Stromausfall war.

299 fuer das kleine 2gig ssd 256mb no cam eeepc
und 399 fuer das 8gig ssd 1gig ram eee pc .....
aber das sind hald wieder dollar preise, und die werden bekanntermaßen ohne ust angegeben, dazu kommt noch der europa faktor ....
ich weiß nicht haben wir hohe zölle auf elektronik oder wieso kostet bei uns immer alles mehr als in usa und japan? das ist doch mobbing !

Allerdings kommt dazu noch der Eurokurs. Aber wenns in Euro echt mehr kostet, ist das eine gröbere Frechheit.
Ich hätt ja nix gegen Zölle, die uns vor Billigprodukten schützen - aber dann bitte auch auf alle Produkte von europäischen Herstellern, die in China produzieren.
