HAMMER! Wenn das wahr ist dann wird der Core2Duo wohl die beliebteste CPU aller zeiten. Wenn man überlegt das man dann keinen Highend RAM mehr braucht...
Vorrausgesetzt das ist wahr wird das wieder einige von der dunklen seite zurückbringen, da bin ich ganz sicher. Ich frage mich nur wie asus das geschafft hat. Und vor allem hoffe ich das das auch beim beliebten P5WDH möglich ist

nur geduld, tiger... das wird sich sicher ähnlich entwickeln wie damals PAT auf den i865-boards: erst asus mit einigen edelbrettern, dann andere hersteller mit edelbrettern, dann asus mit allen brettern (sogar mein el cheapo i848p kann's) und quasi alle anderen hersteller auch...

Bin ich der einzige der merkt das das mal widda nix ist ?
Abit hat beim AW9D auch die multis zugänglich und viele andere Hersteller ebenso ...
AUFWÄRTS wird da garantiert NICHT gehen, NIEMALS. Was intel einmal wegsperrt bleibt es auch. Angefangen vom PII bis jetzt hat wirklich niemand es geschafft den Lock zu knacken und volle Multi kontrolle erlangt.
Nach unten kann man die nur verstellen weil sonst das runtertakten nicht funktionieren würde ...

AUFWÄRTS wird da garantiert NICHT gehen, NIEMALS. Was intel einmal wegsperrt bleibt es auch. Angefangen vom PII bis jetzt hat wirklich niemand es geschafft den Lock zu knacken und volle Multi kontrolle erlangt.

Juhu! Das heißt, wenn ich so reich bin, mir ein 975X-Board zu leisten, kann ich nur super underclocken oder prima per FSB übertakten. Letztendlich also keine Performancesteigerung per CPU-Übertaktung... Back 2 the roots: PIII-S oder mobile-CPU
