Der ganze Netzteil-Hype ist sowieso total veraltet, das kommt noch aus fruehen Socket-A-Zeiten, als das Board mal locker 100W aus den 5V gezogen hat und die PCs instabil wurden oder gar der ATX-Stecker wegen viel zu viel Ampere geschmolzen ist (siehe Tyan S2460...). Mein 300W Seasonic hat bisher all...

Hat irgendjemand Erfahrung wie sich das Board bei Übertaktung um die 180MHz FSB verhält? Gruß Raptor Ich habs mal mit 3:4-RAM-Teiler auf 193 MHz laufen gehabt, fuer nen Screenshot waren sogar 202 MHz drin. Dem Brett selbst ist der FSB praktisch egal, brauchst nur RAM, der den Takt verkraftet, async...

Du meinst wohl den P-M, der ist weitaus schneller, als der P4 bei gleichem Takt. Mit Dual-Channel-RAM siehts auch fuer den A64 ziemlich duester aus.

IBM/Hitachi/ExcelStor, ich hatte bisher noch keine Platte von denen, die nicht mindestens 45 MHz mitgemacht hat, ne 120GXP und baugleiche ExcelStor hatte ich auch schon auf 50 MHz. Die Seagate Barracudas + Nachfolger schlucken alles... 7200.7 P-ATA nicht, da ist bei meiner bei 40-42 MHz Schluss gewe...

Dothan @ i875P - Latenz vs. Takt?
Was wuerde mehr beim Dothan bringen, ~200 MHz 2-2-2-x oder 250 MHz 3-3-3-x? Mir gehts darum, ob 4x 512er Infineon 6-A oder Samsung UCCC. Die Samsungs haben den Vorteil, dass sie SS sind, mit 4x DS-Riegeln und hohem Takt machen ja die meisten Bretter Probleme.
